As a native of South Carolina, Erin was first drawn to interiors in the historical architecture of Charleston while attending the College of Charleston. After college, Erin moved to New York, where she worked as a designer and buyer for Ralph Lauren, traveling the world to visit stores, and further honing an eye for vintage clothing and furniture, colors and patterns. When she and her husband relocated to the Pacific Northwest to start a family, she directed that attention to interiors, first in her own home and then, through word-of-mouth, in others.

In both fashion and interior design, she is a "comfort seeker," using classic silhouettes and natural fabrics, as well as a mix of vintage and modern pieces, to create an aesthetic that is traditional and yet thought-provoking. For Erin, the spaces in which we live, in which we raise our families and nourish our own potential, have meaning; her work helps define it.
